School Visit

Activity sessions for school groups are curriculum linked and led by our experienced and enthusiastic team, providing a stimulating alternative to the classroom. We also offer seasonal activities, including Christmas and Easter specials, and cross-curricular learning opportunities, including a day based on Maurice Sendak's classic 'Where The Wild Things Are'. Please see 'Activities' link for more information.

Woodlands Farm also offers a range of courses and opportunities for adult learning, including craft, conservation and heritage skills and training courses for farm volunteers. Our Work Experience Programme is well established and caters for school students and those working towards animal care qualifications. We offer team-building days for corporate groups to take a day out of the office and make a real difference to the farm, and we are developing arts and conservation projects and a new Rare Breeds Interpretation Centre.
