Information
Come and join our magical festive evening at Woodlands Farm. Start off in our Education Centre with a festive story before making some reindeer food in preparation for Christmas Eve. Then walk through our illuminated garden to meet Father Christmas and his elves where you will receive a present to take home and have an opportunity to take pictures. Booking is essential, £12 per child. There will also be a pop up café available each evening serving hot chocolate, tea and coffee.
An Evening with Santa is on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th December. Sessions start between 4pm and 6pm and will last between 45mins to an hour.

Take part in a full day of hands-on hedge-laying while learning all about the skill and why it is done here at Woodlands Farm. The day will cover topics such as preparing the ground, how to use hedge-laying tools, cutting of wooden stakes and the skilled art of ‘pleaching’.
This is a one day course which runs from 8.30am until 4pm.
There are 3 dates you can take part in the course:

Saturday 21st February 2026
Saturday 21st March 2026
Please wear suitable clothing and hard wearing work boots or wellies. Please also bring a packed lunch.
The course is £80 per person.
