May Half term activities at the Woodlands farm trust

Please come and join for some fun activities at the farm during the the may half term.

Pond Dipping

Thursday 28th May

10am, 11am, 1pm & 2pm

£5/child

Come and find out what animals live beneath the surface of our pond. We will provide nets and trays for you to explore. Will you find a tadpole or a water boatman? Sessions at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm £5 per child. Suitable for ages 3 and above. Booking is essential, to book visit Pond Dipping - Thursday 28th May

We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations within 1 week of the event. Cancellations before then may be subject to a cancellation administration charge.

Orienteering

Friday 29th may

Drop in between 10am and 12pm

£4/child

Come and have a go at Orienteering at Woodlands Farm. Pick up a map and try one of our orienteering courses around the farm. Can you find all the controls without getting lost? £4 per child. Open Farm Sunday

Sunday 7th June 11:00 - 16:00

Come and join us for this national celebration of farming. Throughout the day we will have guided walks, a chance to meet our animals and Tractor and Trailer Rides. We will also have some activities for children and a pop up café. A great opportunity to find out all about what we do at Woodlands Farm. Woodlands Farm 5K Run and Walk

Sunday 13th September 11:00 - 13:00

Don't miss your chance to explore the wonder of Woodlands Farm with our challenging 5K course around the fields of the farm.

Sign up to enjoy this unique course around our fields, an amazing environment for any runner or keen walker. With undulating terrain and the additional of sheep, this challenging course gives you a chance to see areas of Woodlands Farm normally closed to the public.

Due to the nature of the terrain this event is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.

The run starts at 11am, with registration from 10.15am. Registration is £15 per person if you register online and £20 on the day.

This event is only for those 11 years and older.
