Please come and join us for some fun activities at the Woodlands Farm Trust this summer.


Wednesday 29th July

Teddy Bears Picnic

10.30am – 2pm

If you go down to the farm today… Come along and bring your picnic and teddy to enjoy a picnic out in our fields. Our tractor and trailer will take you out to the fields where you can enjoy your picnic. There will be story readings out in the fields with our team. £4 per person including tractor ride to fields. No need to book, just drop in.


Tuesday 4th August

Drop in Farm Crafts

10am-12pm

Come and join us for a relaxed session of crafts. Have a go making something related to the farm, could it be an animal, tractor or some wildlife. What we you create? £4 per child. No need to book just drop in.


Wednesday 5th August

Plants to Plate

10am – 12pm

Come and join Woodlands Farm and Sitopia Farm as we help you learn about where our food comes from and identifying the different food we are growing on our Farms. Try planting some seeds before heading off around Sitopia Farm, and making your own herbal tea, or explore one of the growing areas and gardens at Woodlands Farm. Lots to discover for the whole family. £5 per child. No need to book, just drop in.


Tuesday 25th August

Wildlife Day

11am-3pm

Come and find out about the wonderful wildlife at Woodlands Farm. There will be taster sessions for different wildlife activities such as pond dipping and minibeast hunts. Tractor and Trailer rides will be available throughout the day so you can see the beautiful nature on the farm and there will be an opportunity to learn how to help wildlife in your garden. Entry is free, but there will be a charge for certain activities.


Thursday 27th August

Farmer for a Day

10am – 12pm and 2pm -4pm

Ever fancied seeing what it is like to be a farmer? Join us as we have a go at feeding and weighing our animals as well as walking our fields to check all our animals. This event is only suitable for children over 8 years. All children must come wearing either sturdy trainers or wellies, no sandals allowed. £8 per child.
